From a very early age I have had an interest in all areas of design. I have fond memories of tagging along with my mother on trips to Atlanta and Charleston, pouring over fabric samples, and listening intently to the talk of color, contrast and scale, and the details of making it all flow seamlessly. Over time I have come to realize that all of the homes and designs that I have long admired have a common thread - timeless and classic details, often infused with something unexpected to keep things fresh. I believe in living with what you love and the importance of making a house feel like a home. In more recent years I have gone on to help design and decorate two homes that my husband and I have built in Nashville. These opportunities have given me valuable experience and have also confirmed that designing living spaces is something I am passionate about. After some encouragement from friends and family (and the births of four babies), I launched Jessica Jennings Design, which offers a wide variety of design services that can be tailored to meet each individual client's needs. "Something Old, Something New" is a creative outlet for me to share my thoughts/ramblings on all things aesthetically pleasing.
